VitalRoot Beauty Academy (VRBA) is an educational division owned and operated by RXestoratives Hair & Skin, Inc.

VRBA TricholBalance™ is a professional education and certification course offered through VitalRoot Beauty Academy.

This section explains the professional boundaries of the program, what this certification does and does not authorize, and your responsibility as a practitioner to remain within the laws, regulations, and professional scope that apply where you practice.

Professional Scope

VRBA TricholBalance™ provides professional education in:

  • Trichology
  • Hair and scalp assessment
  • Hair loss and scalp-condition education
  • Holistic wellness concepts
  • Client consultation and documentation
  • Supportive hair and scalp care

  • Professional referral practices

Completion of this program does not grant a medical license and does not authorize a graduate to:

  • Diagnose diseases or medical conditions
  • Prescribe medication
  • Prescribe or independently manage medical treatment
  • Represent themselves as a physician, dermatologist, or other licensed healthcare provider
  • Practice outside the scope allowed by their professional license, certification, training, or jurisdiction

Certification Statement

Successful completion of the VRBA TricholBalance™ Certified Holistic Trichology Practitioner Course demonstrates that the student has completed the educational, assessment, case-study, and competency requirements established by Vital Root Beauty Academy.

The certification awarded through VRBA is an educational and professional certification.

It is not:

  • A medical degree
  • A state-issued professional license
  • A medical license
  • A government-issued healthcare credential
  • Authorization to practice medicine
  • Authorization to perform services outside the graduate’s legally permitted professional scope

Graduates are responsible for representing their credentials accurately and should not use terminology that implies medical authority or licensure they do not possess.

Educational Use Notice: VRBA curriculum materials are intended for trichology education and professional development. They do not replace medical diagnosis, physician-directed treatment, or state-specific licensing requirements. Ai respresation is involved in the creation of this course.

The VRBA Holistic Trichology Approach

The VRBA TricholBalance™ approach teaches practitioners to evaluate hair and scalp concerns while also considering relevant factors that may influence hair health.

These may include:

  • Nutrition
  • Hormonal activity
  • Stress
  • Lifestyle
  • Circulation
  • Medications
  • Health history
  • Scalp environment
  • Hair-care practices
  • Other whole-person considerations

These factors are explored for the purpose of professional assessment, client education, supportive care, documentation, and appropriate referral.

Holistic assessment does not replace medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or care provided by a licensed healthcare professional.

Medical Referral Responsibility

A professional trichology practitioner must recognize when a client’s condition, symptoms, history, or presentation may require evaluation by an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.

Depending on the concern, referral may include a:

  • Dermatologist
  • Primary care physician
  • Endocrinologist
  • Registered dietitian
  • Mental health professional
  • Women’s health professional
  • Other qualified licensed healthcare provider

Students are encouraged to develop professional referral relationships and to understand when a client’s concern falls outside their professional scope.

Laboratory Information

Laboratory information may provide useful context when reviewing factors that may be associated with hair and scalp concerns.

Students may learn about laboratory markers commonly discussed in relation to hair health. However, this program does not authorize students to independently diagnose medical conditions based on laboratory findings unless such interpretation is already permitted under the student’s separate professional healthcare license.

Students should avoid presenting laboratory observations as medical diagnoses.

When medical interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment is required, the client should be referred to an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.

Supplements, Nutrition & Wellness Education

This program may discuss nutrition, supplements, lifestyle practices, stress management, wellness strategies, and other supportive approaches for educational purposes.

Any recommendation made by a student or graduate must remain within that individual’s legally permitted professional scope.

Students should not:

  • Diagnose nutritional deficiencies unless legally authorized to do so
  • Treat disease through nutritional recommendations
  • Prescribe medications
  • Represent supplements as medical treatment
  • Provide services requiring a license they do not hold

When appropriate, clients should be referred to qualified medical, nutritional, or other healthcare professionals.

The information presented throughout the VRBA TricholBalance™ course is provided for professional educational purposes.

Course content is not intended to replace:

  • Medical diagnosis
  • Medical treatment

  • Professional competency
  • Local and state laws
  • Applicable regulations
  • Scope-of-practice requirements

When there is uncertainty regarding whether a service, recommendation, procedure, treatment, interpretation, or professional activity falls within your permitted scope, seek clarification from the appropriate licensing or regulatory authority and refer the client when necessary.
